MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN CHANDIGARH GROUP OF COLLEGES, PUNJAB AND PINE BIOTECH, INC. USA

On Oct 05, 2021, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pine Biotech, USA with an aim of Collaborative Online training programs on the BIG DATA Bioinformatics and Application of Data Science on translational sciences leading to Industrial Skill Sets and capability to work on Independent Big Data Projects in Biotechnology, Biology & Life Science. This agreement was entered on behalf of Director, Pine Biotech, Dr. Mohit Mazumder, and three different departments at CGC, Landran. 

 

DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH

Dr.Harvinder, Associate Dean Research and Mrs. Reena, ACIC, Incubator CEO signed the MoU for collaborative Research with Pine Biotech, USA. The aim behind the ACIC RISE Research Department is to build stronger research collaborations to take ahead novel research projects for students under mentor guidance and assist students to convert their potential ideas into start-ups. 

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY

Dr.Arockia M Babu, Director-Principal Pharmacy, an advisory member in editorial

board of many journals including the International Journal of Nursing Education & Research, International Journal of Drug Discovery& Medical Research, International Journal of Pharmaceutical Archive, Global Research on Traditional Reports, Journal of Global Pharma Technology, Journal of Scientific Speculations and Research, Universal Journal of Pharmacy, etc.

DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY

Mrs. Palki SahibKaur - HOD, Biotech Department. Her research interests include microbiology, industrial microbiology enzymology. The biotechnology department at CGC Landran aims to motivate students to get along with the recent research trends and learn more about the role of bioinformatics in analyzing the Big Data generated in wet labs.

 

 

We have a common purpose in the development and dissemination of awareness, knowledge, and understanding of new technologies as important for Biomedical Research and are pleased to enter into an agreement to promote academic cooperation, mutual understanding and identify areas where staff and students of both organizations can work together to promote international excellence in research and teaching in higher education. 

Pine Biotech will be conducting 

  • Free awareness workshops & webinars,
  • Omics Logic Basic Training programs,
  • Omics Logic Faculty Development Program,
  • Omics Logic Research Fellowship Program,
  • Paid Industrial Internship Program for selected students, and
  • Joint Bioinformatics Research

The objectives of this agreement are to promote mutual faculty and students research, training & development, Develop skills for employability and provide hands-on experience, and to provide paid internships via Omics Logic Research fellowship program for undergraduate, graduate & postgraduate students: training using research & industry-driven curriculum to prepare them for reproducible research and bioinformatics, encouraging.

We would also conduct joint development of training resources for the broader student community and integrate Omics Logic faculty specialization programs. 

To date, Pine Biotech has signed several MoUs with influential institutions from all around the world. Pine Biotech is looking forward to this exciting new collaboration with Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Punjab.
